Reza Soltani

I am a researcher in the field of security of Cyber-Physical systems. I am currently doing my Ph.D. in the field of integrating safety and cybersecurity at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. Before that, I have done research in the field of trustworthy Cyber-Physical systems for one year at the University of Southern Denmark. Also, I have an M.Sc. from the University of Tabriz. During my M.Sc. education period, I worked on Network Security, and more specifically, I was invited to research in the Data Analytics Laboratory, on the security of the Internet of Things. I have nearly a year of expertise and industrial employment history in IoT and smart metering. I worked with open source IoT operating system, with support for NBIoT, LoRaWAN, BLE, NFC, and other communications stacks, and developed projects in Arm Mbed OS which is a free, open-source embedded operating system designed specifically for the “things” in the Internet of Things. I am also active in the industry. I am the Co-founder & CTO of a company in the Netherlands, which provide an easy-to-use Virtual Private Server (VPS).
